Introduction

I was responsible for solely designing Cox Communications' internal Sharepoint website. This website allows employees to interact with each other, and the company, view time-off, apply during the open enrollment period, etc. 

The Problem

Previously, their platform was a mixed bag of add-on services and was in serious need of a design update. With a small team of resources, I lead the design effort and collaborated on UX, IA, Content Strategy, etc.

The Solution:

The best part about this project was having a client that was extremely savvy. That allowed us to know the Microsoft integrations well, and really clean up this experience. Another bonus to this project was that Cox Communication is owned by Comcast. There was a Comcast project running in parallel, where we collaborated on a similar look n' feel, but were able to find efficiencies during the build phase.

The Outcome

This redesign has shown significant efficiency and engagement with employees. Not to mention improved UX, ADA, and an overall brand alignment within Cox Communications.
